With calm and time instead of pressure

Treating children calls for a great deal of empathy, time and calm. Our aim is to motivate your child to take an active part through a dental appointment that is as relaxed as possible, and to make the visit to the dentist a positive event.

A visit to the dentist can be fun

Children are particularly open to new experiences. In order to preserve the curiosity and willingness to cooperate of our youngest patients, we introduce them to dental treatment in a playful way suited to their age.

Without fear: we take your child's fears very seriously. One of our most important aims is that your daughter or son experiences dental treatment without fear and accepts it as a completely normal visit to the practice.

Welcome from the very first little tooth

Introduce your child to us early - with no treatment at all, simply to get to know us.

For healthy teeth right from the start

Children need special care. They should be able to become familiar with the dental practice without fear and be informed in a way suited to their age. Milk teeth have soft enamel and are more sensitive - which is why prophylaxis should be practised right from the start.

You can introduce your child to us from the very first little tooth. Optionally you receive prophylactic care geared to the child's stage of development.

Age-appropriate dental care at home, regular check-ups at the dental practice and a diet that is kind to the teeth are stages of a lifelong health plan.

The aim: to minimise health risks in order to prevent conditions such as caries and periodontitis as far as possible. We give you suggestions, tips and information for a path towards healthy teeth that we can walk together.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I first take my child to the dentist?
As soon as the first little tooth comes through. The first appointment is mainly about getting to know us – with no treatment at all.
What can I do if my child is afraid of the dentist?
Please tell us in advance. We then deliberately allow more time, explain every step in a way children understand and introduce your child to treatment playfully instead of applying pressure.
Do baby teeth really need treatment when they fall out anyway?
Yes. Baby teeth hold the space for the permanent teeth, are important for chewing and speaking and can become inflamed. Decay in baby teeth should therefore be treated.
What happens at the first appointment?
We look at the teeth, talk to you about dental care and diet and give your child time to get to know the practice. As a rule, nothing is treated at the first visit.
